Its Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program at Himalaya Medical College & Hospital is a full 5.5-year undergraduate program which comprises 4.5 years of studies and a one-year mandatory internship. The duration is in line with the traditional MBBS program across different countries which ensures that students are adequately prepared for practicing medicine.
- NEET Qualification: For admission to the MBBS program passing the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is mandatory for all Indian students, in accordance with the rules established by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Level of Proficiency in English: There is generally no requirement to take a separate English proficiency test to gain admission to MBBS programs in India and at HMCH because the language used for teaching is English.
